Today on the blog, I have something a little different for you. Today I will be showing you the NailMates polish removing system. NailMates claim their mission is "to FREE lovers of gel polish and nail treatments from the entrapment of using foils and soaking bowls when removing nail treatments."
Basically you soak one of the pads with nail polish remover, pop it in the NailMate cap, then stick your finger in. It's very easy to prep all ten pads/caps and then insert your fingers. Then you walk around with your hands looking like this.
Which of course makes you look like Mr. Mime from Pokemon. I wasn't huge into that show as a kid, but I know enough to make this reference. Be proud.
After about 10 mins, which is the same length I usually wait, while doing the foil method, I checked my nails. The polish was almost completely gone, except for a few bits, which I was able to easily rub off with one of the pads.
Your pads will look like this when all finished. I rinsed mine out and used them to remove several mani's before I deemed them unusable. Overall, I really liked the product after giving it a thorough trial. Sure you look like a huge dork for 10 mins (ok, maybe it's just me, making Pokemon and ET references) but you also get that glitter polish off with ease.
