Cirque Colors Poolside Collection - Nordstrom Exclusive

I'm really excited to show you all this collection, so no chit chat, we're going to DIVE right in. Once again, Cirque Colors has paired with Nordstrom and their creative director Olivia Kim to create an exclusive collection just for the new Poolside Pop In collection. This limited edition release features a range of cool-toned colors accented with poppy hues for a touch of Hollywood glam. They will only be available for a limited time only, May 29th through June 28th. So lets check them out!

Up first is Julep one of two holos from this collection. Julep is a mint holographic polish that is so unique. I don't think I've got another one like this. I've used two thin coats for full coverage.

Next up is Santorini. This medium blue cobalt polish really brings to mind the Greek Island it's named for. I think I need to go back ASAP! This is a creme polish that applies evenly with two coats.

Next is the lone topper in this collection. This is Summer Soiree a pale pink and coral sprinkles topper. It looks positively patriotic shown over Santorini. One coat with no glitter placement was the perfect amount.

Rita is the pop of fiery color in this cool toned collection. A tomato red creme that leans a little to the orange side, Rita is bright! This is a perfect classic Hollywood red that applied a little sheer, so I used three thin coats for full coverage.

The next two colors I gave you a sneak peek at a few weeks ago. Up first is the sky blue creme Monte Carlo. I love this color it is really vibrant and applies easily in two coats.

The final holo in the collection is Cabana Capri, a baby blue filled with rainbows. This one was also semi sheer so I used three thin coats for full coverage.

I'm in love with this collection as a whole. I think Annie knocked it out of the park. Julep and Rita are my favorites. What are yours?

Matchy Matchy with Greens!

Hey All! Sorry for the radio silence the past couple of weeks. Things have been busy, crazy busy lately. As you know, I've been directing a kids show of Aladdin and the performance was last night. So in the last several days my stress level has been pegged at 100 trying to get all the last minute details done and handle the rest of life. Thankfully, I have a wonderful team behind me, so it all got done, but man it was something else! The kids had fun and did great last night, so I'm really pleased.

Now if I can make it through Sunday, life will be blissfully quiet. For like a week. Hopefully, I'll get back into my normal blogging schedule now as I have a lot of fun things to show you. Starting with this look.

This is two coats of Cirque Colors Josephine on my thumb, pointer, and pinky fingers. Look at that rainbow! Annie's holos are always on point! On my middle and ring finger I have three coats of Scofflaw Polish Velocipedestrienne. That's a mouthful of a name but it's a pretty polish. It has an aqua blue base filled with violet, white, mint, and dark green glitters. The green glitter is a perfect match to Josephine!

Man, it feels good to be back to blogging. I missed it. Can't wait to show you all what I have in the pipeline!

Enjoy & until next time, Amy Lee

Illamasqua Harem

Tonight's post is going to be a quickie. I don't know how the week got away from me again. Life is flying by people.

This is Illamasqua Harem. Illamasqua's website describes Harem as a "bright mauve pink." Personally I'd classify it as a purple because it leans more purple on me, but it might be different on other skin tones. For my swatch I have two thin coats, that were applied easily. Illa's always apply and wear like a dream, you can't go wrong. It's too bad this brand pulled out of the US. I hope they come back soon.

So...do you think this is a pink or a purple?

Enjoy & until next time, Amy Lee

Bellaluna Cosmetics Bohemian Collection

*press samples
Sunday is here again. That means Monday is tomorrow. Boo Hiss! Monday's are the worst. I think we should start a petition to make weekends four days long and work weeks three days long. Who's with me?! Anywho...today I have a new collection from Bellaluna Cosmetics to show you. These five polishes make up Samantha's new Bohemian Collection. I totally love the way they all work together. Be aware, this will be a picture heavy post, because I couldn't pick just one shot to show you each polish.

Up first is Sunset in Paradise. You've seen a sneak peek of this one. Sunset in Paradise is a beautiful bright orange jelly polish filled with orange sparkles. There's a flash of silver holo just for a little added something! I used three thin coats here and as you can see, I have no visible nail line.

Next up is Wild Child. I'm in love with this glitter bomb y'all! This is mostly different sized light purple glitters but it also has pink, blue, silver, gold, and copper glitters thrown in. The copper glitters are a real stand out, I love them! This was two thin, easy coats for full coverage.

Wanderlust is so beautiful and creamy. It's a lovely aquamarine blue polish filled with blue and holographic shimmer. It's a real stand out. Two thin coats for full coverage.

Next is Metanoia. This glitter topper is filled with shredded glitters in teal and magenta flakies in a holographic base. I've worn two coats over Wanderlust. I did have to use the dab and spread method with this one, but that's pretty typical with glitter polishes.

Finally, we have Gypsy. Oh Gypsy, how I love you and your golden shimmer. This muted magenta polish is filled with the most beautiful golden shimmer. It's stunning. I used two thicker coats here for full coverage.

Can you pick a favorite? Mine are definitely Wild Child, Sunset in Paradise, and Gypsy. You can find Bellaluna Cosmetics on Etsy, where her polishes retail for $8.50 each. You can also see her on Instagram and Facebook!

Enjoy & until next time, Amy Lee

#StampingSaturday: Sunset Stamped

Hey All! Is everyone having a wonderful Saturday? Mine has been super chill. Breakfast with family this morning, lazy afternoon with a pedicure, and dinner with my love tonight! Speaking of pedicures...the lady told me she loved my nails and I felt all cool telling her I did them myself. #winning #coolkid

For my #StampingSaturday look, I'm actually showing you something I wore earlier this week. My base is part of an upcoming Bellaluna Cosmetics collection that I'm going to show you tomorrow. ;-)

The orange crelly filled with orange micro glitters is called Sunset in Paradise. I stamped over it with a paisley look from Uber Chic 1-02 and Mundo de Unas Light Gold. I adore the way this bright orange works with the paisley in the light gold. It's a great combo!

Stayed tuned for the full collection tomorrow. I can't wait to show you. I think you'll love them all! In the meantime, be sure to check out all the other stamped manis below.
