Cirque Colors Poolside Collection - Nordstrom Exclusive

I'm really excited to show you all this collection, so no chit chat, we're going to DIVE right in. Once again, Cirque Colors has paired with Nordstrom and their creative director Olivia Kim to create an exclusive collection just for the new Poolside Pop In collection. This limited edition release features a range of cool-toned colors accented with poppy hues for a touch of Hollywood glam. They will only be available for a limited time only, May 29th through June 28th. So lets check them out!

Up first is Julep one of two holos from this collection. Julep is a mint holographic polish that is so unique. I don't think I've got another one like this. I've used two thin coats for full coverage.

Next up is Santorini. This medium blue cobalt polish really brings to mind the Greek Island it's named for. I think I need to go back ASAP! This is a creme polish that applies evenly with two coats.

Next is the lone topper in this collection. This is Summer Soiree a pale pink and coral sprinkles topper. It looks positively patriotic shown over Santorini. One coat with no glitter placement was the perfect amount.

Rita is the pop of fiery color in this cool toned collection. A tomato red creme that leans a little to the orange side, Rita is bright! This is a perfect classic Hollywood red that applied a little sheer, so I used three thin coats for full coverage.

The next two colors I gave you a sneak peek at a few weeks ago. Up first is the sky blue creme Monte Carlo. I love this color it is really vibrant and applies easily in two coats.

The final holo in the collection is Cabana Capri, a baby blue filled with rainbows. This one was also semi sheer so I used three thin coats for full coverage.

I'm in love with this collection as a whole. I think Annie knocked it out of the park. Julep and Rita are my favorites. What are yours?

Sherbet with a Twist

Hi Ya'll! I'm sorry for the inconsistent posting last week, but I was out of town. It's going to be just as crazy this week, because I'm traveling out of town, again, for the holiday.

Today I have a trio of Julep polishes. I bought these in the recent Julep Warehouse sale, which was exciting because it was a great way for me to try out a new brand without a huge investment. This trio is called Sherbet with a Twist.

Up first we have Charlotte, a very pretty dusty purple creme. I love the way this polish looks. I wore 3 coats here, the polish applied easily, and dried very shiny.

Next we have Lauren. This bright pink is more jelly than creme. I've got 3 coats on here and you can still see visible nail line. Next time I'll wear this over white and it will be freaking awesome.

This polish, Parker, was my least favorite of the three. Online it looked like this delicious yellow, I got it and it was like honey mustard and orange had a baby. I wore it for a few days, so the wear time is good. The formula was great, easy to apply, and dries very shiny. My only complaint was the color.

Which color is your favorite? Did you take advantage of Julep's big sale?

Enjoy & until tomorrow, Amy Lee
