#StampingSaturday: Banksy Inspired

It's the weekend again, and it's going to be a long one for all of you. Sadly for me, I'll have to work today but it shouldn't be for too long. I hope the rest of you enjoy three long days of blissful relaxation! The only thing that makes me sad it this weekend is the unofficial end of summer, better get my last hurrahs in while I can. ;-)

For today's look I started with a base of I Love Nail Polish's Mega (L). This is from the new Fall Collection, and it is mega holographic silver polish. I'm wearing 3 coats of this beauty and it applied like a dream.

I then used MoYou London UK Rebel 02 to stamp on Bansky's Panda in Konad Black and Mo You London UK Pro Collection XL 20 for the circular stamps.  I love Konad Black for stamping, it's so crisp, but why is it always so hard to clean up. Ugh.

You can see a picture of the original Bansky Panda below. Do you like my graffiti inspired nails?

Zoya Ignite Collection

*PR Sample
Today I have Zoya's Ignite collection to show you. These are all described as liquid metals which isn't always my favorite finish, but let me tell you that this collection has won me over. They are so pretty!

First up I have Zoya Autumn, which is described as "varnished copper liquid metal." I would say that it is fall in a bottle. The perfect polish to bring in a new season. This is 3 thin coats, but you could easily do 2 thicker ones.

Sansa a "deep eggplant with a gold metallic sparkle." It's a dark deep purple that really shines in the light. This one killed me with its prettiness. I applied 2 coats for full coverage.

Remy is so pretty. It's a favorite for me in this collection. This blue teal polish is described as "brilliant indigo with copper and gold liquid metallic." Remy was opaque in just 2 easy coats.

Next we have India a "deep luxurious red with a gold liquid metallic shimmer." This one reads as a chocolatey red on me, if that makes sense. I used 2 coats for this look.

Second to last is Yuna! YUNA you have my heart. This polish turned me into a fangirl for a hot second. Described as a "warm grey with copper and gold liquid metal" Yuna stole my heart, her flawless formula that applied easily in 2 coats helped.

Finally we have Teigen. Teigen fully covered in 2 coats and was easy to apply. She's described as a "pink toned cranberry with a copper liquid metal."

Like I said, I love this collection. I never understand why Zoya doubles up on reds/pinks in their collections, but that doesn't take away from how pretty they are. Which ones are your favorites? Yuna is the big favorite for me, but I love Autumn, Remy, and Sansa too. Heck, I love them all!

#TheLacquerRing: Striping Tape

#TheLacquerRing is back. The lovely Cynthia from Of Life and Lacquer  has the pleasure of picking for the month of August. As you know by now, we do a color for the first go around and then an art pick for the second theme in August.

For Cynthia's second pick of the month she chose the art prompt of striping tape. I think by now y'all know I love a good striping tape mani. So I was excited for this prompt. Let me start off by showing you my base color. I began with a base of KBShimmer Mint-al Vacation. This is a lovely soft minty blue with a scattered holographic shimmer in it. I'm going to show you 2 pictures of the first hand pose, one with normal lighting and the other with flash. This way you can see the holographic rainbows.

Mint-al Vacation was the perfect base for my striping tape look. I used Color Club Harp On It and OPI In True Stefani Fashion for the other colors in this design.

Amazeballs right? I'm so happy with how this came together. Love the mix of liner and scatter holographic rainbows plus the holographic glitter.

Don't forget to check out what CynthiaAmandaLesleyFrossoJessicaSiobhan, and Nicole came up with as well. You can see their looks below.

Morgan Taylor Neon Collection

It totally makes sense that at the end of the summer I have a full neon polish collection to show you. This is the Morgan Taylor Neon Collection. If you don't like lots of pictures maybe this post isn't for you. This collection may be my favorite neon collection ever. I didn't need a single white base for the polishes and they were all opaque in three coats. While these are all cremes a few of them applied more like a "crelly" (creme + jelly). Now that I've told you all that, lets look at these pretties.

Starting off with the least neon polish in the collection this is Don't Touch Me, I'm Radioactive. I think it is just insanely hard to make a neon blue polish, so I would classify DTMIR as such, however it is very bright and in your face.

Don't Worry, Be Brilliant is a bright neon coral polish that tends to lean orange in certain lights. This is my favorite from the collection and man it was in your face!

Pink Flame-ingo is an on fire pink! I love this color and thought it was so beautiful!

Next I've got It's Electric which is a radioactive bright purple.

This is Watt Yel-lookin at? a highlighter neon yellow. This was the sheerest of the 6 polishes, but it can be built up just fine.

This last polish, I've already shown you but I wanted to include it in the collection post. Go for the Glow is a bright green that really does glow because NEON!

So which color is your favorite? Mine are Don't Worry Be Brilliant and Pink Flame-ingo, but I love them all! Neons for the win!!!!

#StampingSaturday: Neon Yellow

I am hanging onto summer for dear life. I'm not ready for it to get cold and dreary, so I keep using my neon polishes. Even today it's low 70's here. What happened? Why is summer leaving? Was it something I said? Come back summer!!!!

For today's Stamping Saturday look I started off with a base of Morgan Taylor Watt Yel-lookin At? a highlighter yellow neon. I then used images from MoYou London Hipster 08 and Sally Hansen Silver Sweep for the stamped design. I used an un-named Sally Hansen glitter for the accent nail.

Are you ready for the changing seasons? I know I'm not. Don't forget to link up your Stamped Design below, you can also add the link up to your blog! Check everyones designs out too!

Cirque Kontiki Collection

Before this collection came out if you'd asked me what my favorite Cirque polish was, heck, favorite polish period, I would have told you Cirque Coronation. Now it's a tie. A four way tie. All three polishes from the Kontiki Collection have that same amazeballs shimmer effect that Coronation sports and I just keeled over and died while I was wearing these. I did not want to take them off, EVER! It's like Annie ground up opals and poured them into her polish.

First up is my favorite out of these three. You all have been around long enough to know that teal is my all time favorite color ever, so it should surprise you that the teal isn't my fave pick. It surprised me too! This is Midsummer Night. I totally turned into a teenager when I put this one on. I kept shoving it in the fiances face and yelling "I.. CANT...EVEN...THIS POLISH! UGH!" Needless to say, he was not amused. This is a royal blue polish that seems to glow from within due to the coppery shimmer. I'm wearing 3 coats, and while its a bit sheer, that is part of what makes it gorgeous.

Next is Dear Dahlia. Dear Dahlia is a fuschia filled with green to blue shimmer. It still has that beautiful from within glow that I love.

Finally we have Thicker Than Water, which is the teal polish. This is a sheer teal polish that has the same glow/shimmer which shifts from green to gold. Check out that bottle shot below, ugh!

This is by far my favorite collection I've seen all year and I'm so glad that I snagged all three. I'm packing them for my tropical honeymoon and only them. They'll look amazing in that setting!

Which one is your favorite?
