#TheLacquerRing: Mandala

I'm back today with the second #TheLacquerRing look for January. Today we're doing Mandala inspired looks. I'm excited to see how everyone interprets this prompt, so let's dive right in.
For my look, it was a multi-step process. First I started with a base of Stardust Polish Deep Space, which is a greyed out navy blue. This was streaky on the first coat, but build up nicely after two more.
Once Deep Space was dry, I randomly sponged on KBShimmer Aquamarine and Blue Topaz. I wasn't going for full coverage, more random splotches.
Finally I went in with Mundo de Unas Holland Blue and a MoYou London Kaleidoscope 06 for the final Mandala pattern. I really enjoy the combo of the blues and how they play together.
There you have it. Mandala inspired nails in shades of blue. Be sure to check out the other ladies looks below.

Christmas Mani with It Girl Fashion Plates

Today I have the second of the three scheduled posts for you featuring the new It Girl Fashion Plate IG-104. As I mentioned on Monday, I'm cruising and should be on my way towards Jamaica at this point. Here's to warm weather!
I know I'm a few days late, but this was the mani I wore for Christmas festivities. I started with a base of Stardust Polish A Gnoment Like This which is a pigmented red glitter jelly. I love the sparkle it has.
I then went in with Mundo de Unas High Green and stamped on the plaid design from IG-104. I totally love the colors together, especially paired with the plaid stamp. Also...can we talk about how crisp those lines transferred over? I was super impressed.

#31DC2015: Red Nails

Ok y'all. I think I have a screw loose because this year I'm going to try and undertake the 31 Day Challenge. If you aren't sure what it is you can read all about it here. Basically it's 31 days of prompts and you go for it. I'll probably double post on certain days, because I also have some awesome new collections to show you. So be prepared to see alot of my fingers this month. ;-)
The first prompt for the #31DC2015 is Red, so what better way to start this out than with a sumptuous red holo. This is Stardust Polish Yes Your Majesty. It's a bright red holographic polish, can't beat that. I used three thin coats for full coverage here, and it was a dream to apply. This is my first time using this brand, and I'm so happy I did.
Day one down. Now 30 more to go. Eek! See you tomorrow for orange nails. You can see all the prompts below.
