#TheLacquerRing: Floral

So today is #TheLacquerRing art prompt for the month of May. I've been prepping for the busy summer season at work, which has consisted of inventory, so my nails have taken an unfortunate beating the last few days. I'm just happy that I got some massive swatching sessions done before I had to chop them down to baby nubs. I'm going to spend the long weekend editing photos and prepping posts!

Our prompt this month was Floral, which is super fun. Before I had to go to nubs, I had a super cool plan, but instead I went an easier route. I want to save the cool look for longer nails. So stay tuned for that, but anyways.....today's look starts with a base of Essie Come Here! on three nails and then NCLA Petite Flora wraps on the middle nails. It took me a while to hit the polish to pair with the wraps, but I like the final look.

Be sure to check out all the other ladies who did floral nails below. Here's hoping the nubs grow out quickly. ;-)

#TheLacquerRing: Silver

What's up party people? I'm back with another installment of the #TheLacquerRing. Today we've got some new faces joining us, so be sure to check out the link up below and welcome them! Our color prompt for this month is Silver. I really struggled with what to do. I usually like to add a little art, but I wanted to let the silver shine (pun intended), but then I came up with a cool trick. Let's check it out.

I started with a base of OPI My Signature is DC a bright silver foil filled with shimmer. I used two coats for full coverage and had no issues with application.

I then went in with Twinkled T Cyclone Vinyls and OPI It's Frosty Outside a textured liquid sand finish to create some cool silver on silver 3D effects.

That's it folks. I've really enjoyed wearing this mani for the last few days. Isn't it pretty?

Like I said before, check out the other ladies participating in #TheLacquerRing below.

Blackberry Wine

Tonight I have a quick swatch for you of a beautiful polish. I think it's well known that I love a good holographic polish so it should be no surprise that I really love Nvr Enuff Polish Blackberry Wine. This polish is a deep vampy purple along with some silver micro holo glitters mixed in. It sort of has a red flash in some angles as well. I used two easy coats for this swatch and the formula was great.

Stay tuned as I have some awesome posts coming up for you in the near future. So happy to be back and blogging.

#StampingSaturday: Aqua and Honey

Hey ladies (and gents!), long time no blog. Sorry I just went hard-core MIA for a hot minute. I had some health issues that kind of knocked me on my ass for a while, but the good news is...I'm back in action and feeling good. I've missed the blog and doing my nails. More than that, I've missed interacting with all of you!

So lets get down to it! Today is #STAMPINGSATURDAY and I'm hitting it hard with a great combo. I started with a base of Floss Gloss Honey, which is one of my favorite glitters. Honey is a holographic bronze full coverage glitters.

I then went in with two different images from It Girl Nail Art IG-107* with Mundo de Unas Aqua. I'm loving these art deco designs. They are super crisp!

See how beautiful they are! I wasn't joking about how crisp the images are. I adore the combo of the bronze glitter with the aqua stamping.

Be sure to check out all the other stamping ladies below!

Enjoy & until next time, Amy Lee
