So I've got some exciting news for you all today! There is a new company on the block and they are making Stamping Plates. Who you ask? Well it's It Girl Nail Art and the new plates are the bomb.com! I'm not lying to you. I was supposed to get my plate last Tuesday, but it got delayed (grrr USPS) and I didn't get it until late Friday night. I worked all weekend to get this post ready for you, because there is a sweet Pre-Order deal you need to know about! First lets look at the plate I was sent, then we'll get to details.
I received IG-103 which is one of three plates for their debut collection. I love the images and it stamps beautifully. Below, I've picked up each image on my Creative Shop stamper head for you to see. These images are wide and long, they'll fit every nail. They transfer beautifully. I cannot wait to get the other two. Yes, I ordered them. ;-) I did notice that this plate is etched deeply and does take two swipes with my card to get the right amount of polish. If you only do one swipe, you get some excess polish picked up along with the stamping image. Also, due to the etching, when cleaning it traps fibers. A quick rub of the finger gets them off.
Here I've done a mani using the quaterfoil and lace stamps. I should have used more of a contrasting stamp (damn you metallic polish and your shiny finish) but you'd better believe, you'll be seeing more of this plate and brand. Polish is Ludurana Aurora Boreal and the stamp was done with Models Own Chrome Rose.

Enjoy & until next time, Amy Lee

I love it! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteThis looks gorgeous! Those images are huge! I really hate it when I pick the wrong colours when stamping. I prefer high contrast but often end up picking colours that are too similar :/
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean. In my head it was awesome, in real life it was a softer combo than expected. Now I know.
DeleteBeautiful images. I loved your nails they look soft and subtle :)
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteSo pretty! This looks like a great stamping plate. I just got that mat too, and it makes me want to play with stamping so much more! :0)
ReplyDeleteThe mat is everything! I'm totally the type to spill stuff and ruin desks and tables. This is what i NEEDED!

ReplyDeleteLove that plate and I'm so jealous you got the uc mat. I definitely need it!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm totally the type who spills acetone/polish and ruins the surface of every desk and table. I needed this mat, so I jumped on it right away as soon as it was announced.
DeleteWhat a beautiful plate! Lovey review I will definitely have to check them out.

ReplyDeleteIt's super awesome. I can't wait to use it more.
DeleteGreat review!! I got a plate in, but my was bent I'm waiting on my replacement before I can use it. This will be my first time stamping. I'm nervous! lol
ReplyDeleteBoo! Bent plates are the worst. I'm sure you will do great!
DeleteI'm getting that mat when it comes back in stock, haha. But what I really wanted to say is I like how you did this post, particularly with the images on the stamper- really shows the plate off well. - Bubbie
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing! Doing the swatches on the stamper head seemed like the best way to show them off since I didn't have time to do a mani with each image.
