Have ya'll see that commercial with the camel and he goes around screaming "ITS HUMP DAY". Well that's how I feel today. It's Wednesday and the week is almost over. That also means that the cleanse I'm doing (don't ask, it was a horrible idea) is also two days from being over and I can eat normally again.
It also means that I'm bringing you three colors from Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer's new collection, Leave the Sun Behind Me. This is a new brand to me and I could not wait to use them. Up first is Stop Involving Me a neon yellow that has the prettiest shimmer and glass flecks peeking through. I used three thin coats here for full coverage, application was awesome.
Next I have Rubby, my favorite from the three I was sent. If you know me you know I love a good teal (which is up next), so saying this is a favorite is a big deal. Rubby is a beautiful neon pink filled with purple shimmer. It glows, no kidding, from how bright it is. This was two easy coats for full coverage. My accent nail is a watermarble of Stop Involving Me and Rubby, they were a combo I couldn't resist.
Finally we have 40/41. I love me a good teal and this one is a good teal. This is a thin teal jelly filled with peekaboo cobalt flakies. This combo is to die for. I work this particular polish for four days because I loved it and I had no chipping, just minimal tip wear. Talk about staying power. I did use three thin coats here and still have visible nail line in certain lighting.
These polishes are currently available in the Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer store, prices range from $12 to $8 and minis are available. 40/41 will have a limited run due to the flakies used being hard to come by, so if you love it, snag it now. Be sure to check out the shop, you'll find the links below.

Enjoy & until next time, Amy Lee
