Multichrome Flakie Gradient

Have you ever had an idea, executed said idea, and then realized it was the messiest thing ever and now you have to spend hours cleaning it up. That's how I feel about this mani. I used liquid latex to protect my fingers and it was still a huge mess. I don't know where I went wrong.

So basically the jist of it is that I wanted to show my multichrome flakie polishes some love. I did and made a huge mess. This is a gradient made with ILNP Electric Carnival and Neon Rosebud. I applied dabs to a wet cosmetic sponge and then sponged them on for full opacity. It was a mess, but I quite like the end result.

There you have it. Short and sweet, but pretty and multi-chrome-y. <--- That's totally a word!

Enjoy & until next time, Amy Lee

  1. That turned out pretty cool. There probably isn't a way to get around the mess...those other flakie gradient spongers just don't tell you that :P

    1. It was worse than glitter. I didn't even know that was possible.

  4. Love the end result. I love these flakies but god forbid you have to clean up. That's the price we pay for such gorgeousness.

  7. Dang I love flakes so much! ILNP does such a great job with them, and was really a pioneer with the ultrachrome ones. Great shots!
