Alright y'all! After celebrating my birthday yesterday, I'm ready to get back to the normal stuff, which is showing you nail polish! I can hear you breathing a sigh of relief. So...lets make this happen. Whoo! *On a side note, I had a bad break last week and had to chop off the nails, so be prepared for different nail lengths as I grow them back out but still post from saved mani's as well.
So the second Thursday of June is here and that means #TheLacquerRing is back! This week for our color prompt we are doing Turquoise Shimmer. This one was hard for me. I had to really think to about Turquoise with Shimmer. I have a lot of teals with shimmer, but they just aren't the same. Finally I settled on Elevation Polish Theo Wirth Parkway. This is a vibrant turquoise filled with multi-colored shimmer. This polish was really thick for me, but I didn't have any application issues.
I then decided to accent it with some silver dots, but it was kind of a fail, so I'll just show you the one picture. Dots were made with OPI This Gown Needs a Crown.
We do have some new faces who will be joining us in #TheLacquerRing going forward, everyone be sure to say HI! to Shelby and Rei. While you are saying HI! check out all the other Turquoise Shimmer looks from Amanda, Lesley, Jessica, Nicole, Voni, Frosso, and Cynthia below!
This Elevation is so gorgeous! I like the dots you added in that pattern.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the warm welcome :-)
Thanks Shelby! So happy you joined us!
DeleteOOh I like this one! I struggled with turquoise I feel like I didn't have any shimmer ones :( This is really pretty!!
ReplyDeleteI think the shimmer was the hardest part for me too!
DeleteVery pretty! I had a hard time too picking out a polish. I started getting confused on what was actually teal or turquoise after staring at so many so I played it safe and went with one that actually had "turquoise" in the name ;)
ReplyDeleteWay to play it safe. The shimmer was the hardest part for me.
DeleteThis is a beautiful polish. Can I say that I adore your nails this length/shape? They just look so damn lady-like and classy. I hope you had a wonderful birthday. Love you!
ReplyDeleteThanks dear. I'm going to go back to oval, these break so easy, but they are fun while they are short.
DeleteBeautiful! Sorry about the break :(
ReplyDeleteIt happens. Part of the problems of this hobby.
