The Perfect Match

Happy Friday Everyone!! I hope everyone had a spectacular week! My week has been craziness with buying new furniture, selling old furniture, picking out paint colors, figuring out closet systems (WHY ARE THE SO MUCH $$$), scheduling utility changes, and all other things moving related. We are now officially under a week from moving and the closer we get the less prepared I feel. Ugh! The good news is, I have a ton of stuff in my drafts, so there shouldn't be any change in my posting schedule. Wish me luck!

Today, I'm showing off a polish that has taken over one of my top 5 favorite spots. It's an exact match to my engagement ring (which I show y'all all the time!) and that makes me beyond happy. I literally texted Annie last night and said "Seriously! Like I know you know how pretty it is but....look at it!" with pictures. I'm sure she was face palming after reading that. :-) Without further ado, here is Cirque Colors Limoncello from the Juciy Collection. A holographic lemon yellow? Can't beat that. I used three thin coats for full opacity!

I decided to try a ruffian look with Limoncello and Lacquer Lust's One Lucky Unicorn as they made a perfect combo. I'm not too keen on this look, but I love the polishes and the way they combine.

There it is. Do you have a polish that's a favorite because it perfectly matches something you treasure? Let me know!

You can find Cirque Colors Limoncello here and Lacquer Lust One Lucky Unicorn here!

Enjoy & until next time, Amy Lee
*Cirque is a work perk, Lacquer Lust is self purchased

  1. They say moving is one of the most traumatic things a person can go through save losing a loved one or divorce. Good luck with that. I'm torn about this polish. I think I like it...but I'm not sure, because yellow.

    1. Yellow is a hit or miss color for people. Obviously I love it because of my ring.

      And moving totally sucks!

  2. Good luck with everything! I typically don't care for yellow polishes but this one looks stunning against your skin. I wish I could pull them off but they just look terrible on me.

  6. I just can't wear yellow, it makes me look dead. But you pulled it off, and it does match perfectly!

    1. Skin tone is huge with yellow. Obviously I know it works for me because of my ring, so I count myself lucky.

  8. Holy moley - I am the first to admit I am generally not a fan of yellows, but that is seriously to die for. It is definitely an amazing match for your ring (which I am sure makes it even more fun to wear!)
