#StampingSaturday: Stamping Fail

It's Saturday again and you know what that means. Stamping day. Today I have a bit of a fail that I want to show you. It's the combination of bad stamping polish, new plates, and no clear direction. Really the whole reason I want to show you this, is to prove that I'm always learning and that not all of my Stamped Mani's come out perfect. Alot of trial and error goes into it and sometimes you get an awesome success and sometimes you get an epic failure. Today I'm going to show you the latter.

For today's fail I started with a base of OPI I Don't Give a Rotterdam. This is a pale grey-blue with golden shimmer. It goes on quite sheer and even with 3 coats you can see visible nail line.

Then because Frosso gave me stamping jealousy with her Pueen Buffet stamps, which I had to order, I decided to use those. I stamped on a star design from PUEEN 60 in OPI Love. Angel. Music. Baby.

The polish dried too quickly so the stamps didn't transfer well giving me this "meh" look. I was going in the right direction, it just took a wrong turn somewhere. So that is my fail of the week. Enjoy!

Also, don't forget about my current giveaway for a set of the Julie G Cruise Time Collection polishes.

You can link up your stamped manis below, don't forget to check out all the other ladies who participate too!

Enjoy & until next time, Amy Lee

  1. Oh no! It is pretty overwhelming when you first give it a go, there are tons of plates in that set that I just stare at and run away scared. I've been eyeing the plate you used each time, but haven't tried it. Keep at it and you'll conquer that buffet.
