As a base for my stamping I chose to polish my nails with A England's Lady of the Lake. Lady of the Lake is a dusky medium toned purple that seems to glow from the inside out. The holographic particles in this polish shoot out rainbows at the right angles. Basically it's gorgeous.
For the stamping I chose two triangle designs from BM423 and BM417 in Konad White. I hated to stamp over this polish because SOOO PRETTY, so I compromised and did two accent fingers with the triangle stamps.
While we're talking stamping, lets talk stampers. I'm still rocking with my old Konad stamper. I have a large squishy one on the way, and I've heard nothing but good things when it comes to them. What's your opinion, which type is best?
Enjoy & until next time, Amy Lee

Ahhh I can't believe I missed the first day already...at least I have plenty of time to get mine done for next saturday. I know what you mean about not wanting to stamp over a pretty polish, one or two "accent nails" is a good compromise.
ReplyDeleteWell, it did happen really quick. You'll be with us for the next one. :-) I think I'm going to go Cynthia's route next time and do a pretty color with a big pattern.
DeleteThis looks beautiful -- I love Lady of the Lake! The geometric stamping looks great :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! A England makes some of my favorite polishes. I wish it wasn't so hard to get them though. :(
DeleteLove it! Ok, so my blog is being stupid and now it's not showing the link thing. I had some issues with a plug-in earlier today and when I updated it, it screwed up the alignment of my pictures so a deactivated it and now it's acting up again. I'm mad about it. Anyway, back to your mani...I think it looks awesome even if you did cover up some of that gorgeousness. I can't wait to see what everyone will do next week. You and I were on it like white on rice!
ReplyDeleteI wonder why it's being goofy? That sucks. And we were on it like a rat on a cheeto!!!
