Lets Spice Things Up

I realize that my post name makes no sense right now. Hopefully you'll get it after reading the post, so I'm going to roll with it. Speaking of rolling, I have been on a roll with OPI polishes lately. OPI & China Glaze are definitely my two favorite brands so they dominate everything I own. Today's manicure started off with a base of OPI's My Paprika is Hotter Than Yours. This is another color from their recent Euro Centrale collection. The way things are going, I'm eventually going to end up with the entire collection.

My Paprika is Hotter Than Yours is a lovely reddish-orangish mix. Make sense? On my skin tone it leans more red (in the pictures it looks orange, but I promise IRL its more red on me), but it also differs in other lightings. This is the perfect summery red tone polish. This will look sophisticated on dates yet fun by the pool. You couldn't ask for a better color. While it's a pretty color, its hard to photograph, so forgive my photos if they seem janky.

Ugh...isn't it pretty. I love this polish all by itself. Its been in the rotation more than once in the last few months since I bought it. It applies like a dream. You are looking at two coats here, but it is difficult to clean up if you get overflow. Be careful when applying.

I decided I wanted to spice things up for this manicure (see what I did there?) so I stamped this baby up. I used my new Winstonia Plates (found here) with the wave design found on plate W111. I used the inverse design on my ring fingers for an accent.

The more I use this set of stamping plates the more I love them. Have you tried stamping?

Enjoy & until next time, Amy Lee
