#TheLacquerRing is back today with our final October prompt. Since it's Halloween in a few days the prompt was Spooky, which seems appropriate. I've done so many Halloween themed manis this month (it's been a serious take over) that I actually struggled with what to do for this look. Don't worry I came up with something. ;-)
I started with a base of LVX Anthracite, a deep gray creme. This beauty was easy to apply and covered in just two coats. Also, some of you may notice that I went back to the oval shape. Let the celebrations begin. They are short right now, because I'm still dealing with that break, but they are back in the much loved shape. It's weird how people were like "square..no, coffin....NO!"
Next I went i with Sinful Colors Snow Me White to create smoke trails following this tutorial. It was surprisingly easy to do.
For the last touch of my Spooky look, I created a decal with a terrifying ghost from MyOnline Shop JR-22 plate. I wanted it to look like he is coming out of the mists to get you.
And there you have it. That's my spooky look. Be sure to see all the other spooky manicures from the other ladies below.
Enjoy & until next time, Amy Lee

DeleteAwesome mani! You know, I've tried to do this before and couldn't get it right!
ReplyDeleteIt was way easier than I thought it would be.
DeleteThat shade of grey is perfect! This technique is so simple. I need to try it. Seems pretty fool proof.
ReplyDeleteI thought it would be super hard. Not the case.
DeleteI love that creepy smokey look!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI just wrote a bunch of stuff and my hand decided to click on the "sign out" button rather than the "publish" button for no logical reason at all. Now I'm annoyed and bitter...
ReplyDeleteAlso I forgot to add my link AGAIN.
(P.S.) I just almost clicked the stupid sign out button again.
NOOO! I'll assume you told me how amazing and talented I am. ;-)
DeleteSo easy too!
