I suck at blogging this week y'all. Life has gotten crazy. Trying to fit in gym time for half-marathon training, time for directing a musical starring kids only (did I forget to mention that?), blog, and work means something is taking a backseat for a hot second. Sadly this week it was the blog. Sorry about that. I didn't mean to ignore you.
I'm backlogged on manis to show you, so even though we're like 3 weeks into the new year, I'm finally getting around to showing you my NYE mani. I know, I know....I told you I was behind.
My base was Cirque Coronation. I've made it no secret that this is my "you can only take one polish to a desert island" polish. Love this one! Which makes me a giant scaredy cat when it comes to using it because "OMG what if it runs out!?!" Anywho, two wonderful coats gives you the perfection you see below.
It is so hard to capture that copper shimmer in the squishy royal purple, but thats why I love it. To accent this look, I took Cirque French Roast a bronze/brown/copper full coverage micro glitter and did triangle accents. These two polishes are made for each other. They match perfectly.
This look was really subtle and elegant, which is what I wanted for New Years. I loved how it came out and even the hubs said he liked it (thats a win!).
What is your desert island polish? I can't wait to hear!
Enjoy & until next time, Amy Lee

Wonderful use of these two polishes together, Amy Lee! Beautiful, sophisticated manicure!
ReplyDeleteThanks Liz! Sometimes I'm a little out there when it comes to polish, so it was nice to tame it down and be sophisticated for a while. ;-)
