The Girly Side of Halloween: Pink Skulls

Hey there Polished Peeps! I told y'all that I had two more Halloween looks for you, and here is number one of two. This look was super fun and I got so many questions and compliments on it. I went for the girly side of this scary holiday.

To start this look off, I laid down a base color. This is two coats of Zoya Micky.

This polish makes me want to sing this song all the time. Can we have a sidebar and talk about Toni Basil's makeup in that video? It is super duper.

After jamming to the one hit wonder for a bit, I then freehanded some skull shapes with China Glaze United, a full coverage pink glitter, and then I sponged Maybelline Color Show Rose Bling over that. I then used some pink acrylic paint to detail the eyes, nose, and mouth.

It was harder to do those tiny shapes than I thought it would be. Overall I loved this manicure. I wish the skulls were a little cleaner, but thats a minor detail that you can't see from far away.

What do you think of this look?

Enjoy & until next time, Amy Lee
