Gold Glitter TIps

Do any of you ever have the problem where you do a polish look that you love so much, you keep it on way longer than you should?? Just me? Oh....well, I've had the following look on for 4 days, which is a long time for me to wear something. I can't help it. I just love this look so much. It's super simple, but filled with glam.

Up first let me show you the base. This is OPI's Samoan Sand.

Samoan Sand is eerily close to my skin tone. It makes my fingers look super long because of that. Then to liven things up a bit, I did a glitter gradient on the ends of my nails in Maybelline Color Show Golds Night Out.

To create the gradient I wiped off the brush so it was almost dry, and started at the middle of my nail, swiping down. I then did the same thing, but starting a little further down. Finally I layered on some thick glitter at the tips of my nails, and voila, pretty gradient. Golds Night Out was the awesome for this gradient. It has gold microglitter, small gold hex glitter, and some medium holographic gold hex glitter. In the right light you get this awesome rainbow flash that makes me swoon.

I have some new goodies to show you, as I've been on a bit of a polish bender lately.

Enjoy & until next time, Amy Lee

  1. I'm always on the lookout for the perfect nude that will match my skin tone. I want the appearance of looooong fingers too! This mani is so pretty and sparkly. I think this is what you were wearing on that picture you posted? The mango lemonade one?

    1. I've got a couple that are really close, but this one might be the closest I've found. It is what I was wearing in the mango lemonade picture. :-)
