Stamping Saturday: Silver Flowers

I cannot believe this is our twelfth Stamping Saturday. We've been at this for 3 months so far, and I look forward to every Saturday because of this.

This week I went for a simple all over look, mainly because I was pressed for time. It's simple but I really enjoy the overall effect. I started off with a base of Butter London's Artful Dodger, a dusty teal creme that is opaque in 3 coats.

I then stamped over Artful Dodger with Sally Hansen InstaDri in Silver Sweep, my go to silver stamping polish, with the NC-001 Plate.

It's just a field of silver flowers over teal but I really like the end result. Simple, yet pretty. It almost reminds me of some old school wallpaper that has been updated to fun colors for modern times.

What do you think? Don't forget to check out the other stamped manis, linked below.

Enjoy & until next time, Amy Lee

  3. I totally see the wallpaper reference. I really like how uniform this design is. From a distance it doesn't even look so much like flowers but kinda like a quatrefoil design. Very nice. I can't believe SS has been going on that long! I know I was a sporadic participant at first but wow that's a long time!
