It's snowing...

Hello you pretty people! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas (feel free to replace Christmas with your holiday of preference.) I had a wonderful time. I was lucky enough to fly home and see loved ones the weekend before and then get to spend a wonderful Christmas day with my fiance. This year I jokingly asked for better blog pictures and boy did he come through. He got me a new camera, photoshop, and some pretty polishes to test out the set up on. (These pictures were done on the old system, I'm waiting for a SD card before I can start testing out the new stuff!)

This was the one semi-holiday inspired mani I did. I started off with a base of Maybelline Color Show Impeccable Greys with an accent nail of Cirque Chainmail. I wore this look on it's own for a day, because it was pretty just like this.

The next day I went back in and added details using Charme Whitehall, a beautiful sheer white tinted jelly filled with white and sheer white glitter in all shapes and sizes, plus holographic sparkles. Doesn't it look like a late night snowfall on my nails?

For my accent nail I stamped a snowflake with Konad White using the Winstonia plate W120. Please excuse my lobster hands in these last 2 photos. I made the mistake of going out with gloves and my hands took a beating.

Did you have a wonderful holiday? I'd love to hear what you did.

Enjoy & until next time, Amy Lee

  1. I LOVE the extra detail! Bloody gorgeous!!!!
We basically braai-ed/BBQed with my parents and my bio-dad's mom (Gran) for the morning to mid afternoon.
The morning G and I exchanged prezzies. I got what you got, minus polish to test. Ma got me the one polish I did want though.
Anyway after the braai we went to G's parents and spent time there.
Aaaaaaand, mmmm ja, that's all hey.

    1. Sounds like a pretty good Christmas then. I'm sure you have enough polishes (yeah right!)
