Before this collection came out if you'd asked me what my favorite Cirque polish was, heck, favorite polish period, I would have told you Cirque Coronation. Now it's a tie. A four way tie. All three polishes from the Kontiki Collection have that same amazeballs shimmer effect that Coronation sports and I just keeled over and died while I was wearing these. I did not want to take them off, EVER! It's like Annie ground up opals and poured them into her polish.

First up is my favorite out of these three. You all have been around long enough to know that teal is my all time favorite color ever, so it should surprise you that the teal isn't my fave pick. It surprised me too! This is Midsummer Night. I totally turned into a teenager when I put this one on. I kept shoving it in the fiances face and yelling "I.. CANT...EVEN...THIS POLISH! UGH!" Needless to say, he was not amused. This is a royal blue polish that seems to glow from within due to the coppery shimmer. I'm wearing 3 coats, and while its a bit sheer, that is part of what makes it gorgeous.

Can you all believe the weekend is here again? I'm just sad that its half over already. I had a really rough week at work and I'm not looking forward to another one. In the meantime the future in-laws are in town, so we're having a fun weekend of running around the city and tonight we are seeing the Carol King musical, Beautiful. It's supposed to be really good, so I'm very excited.

For today's stamped look, I started with a base of Morgan Taylor's Don't Worry, Be Brilliant. It's a radioactive orange leaning coral. On my accent finger I used OPI's Honey Rider topped with Nicole by OPI Lips Are Dripping Honey for some added sparkle. I then used China Glaze Passion to stamp on the birds and herringbone pattern from MoYou Hipster 08.

#TheLacquerRing is back. The lovely Cynthia from Of Life and Lacquer  has the pleasure of picking for the month of August. As you know by now, we do a color for the first go around and then an art pick for the second theme in August.

For Cynthia's first pick she chose the color green. For my green I chose Morgan Taylor's Go For the Glow, which is from their Neon Color Collection. It is very neon!

I was pretty much the worst blogger ever last week. The sad thing is I had looks done, photos taken, and edited but I just didn't have the time to write the posts. Things were going on. ;-) Pretty much winding down summer, getting closer to the wedding, and just busy beyond belief.

Speaking of winding down summer, can y'all believe it is AUGUST already? Summer is almost over and I'm 30ish days away from getting married! I wasn't sure about giving up my bright summer colors, breezy dresses and sunshine for colder weather, sweaters, and boots but Zoya's Naturel Duex Collection is the perfect transition to fall. This marvelous collection has me excited for the changing season now. Let's take a look. I'll show you the colors then talk formula at the end.
