Holo-Day Cheer with Cirque

I can't not buy holiday themed polishes. I'm such a sucker. When Cirque announced their Christmas and Hanukkah polishes, I was all...yeah those will be mine. I also threw The Devil Wears Cirque in the bag too. I was eager to try out one of Annie's new cremes. She does everything else to perfection, so it makes sense that the creme polish would be great too.

The Devil wears Cirque is the perfect brick red creme polish. I'm wearing 2 coats here, it applied smoothly and easily.

I then applied Cirque Holo-Day Cheer on all fingers except the middle. Holo-Day Cheer is a Christmas themed glitter topper filled with red, green, silver glitters in all shapes and sizes. I see stars, triangles, circles, hexes and more in the mix. On my middle finger I applied Lonesome George in a tree shape. Lonesome George is a jewel toned green with a beautiful holographic finish. My tree needed some twinkly lights so I used Cirque 8 Crazy Nights, a Hanukkah themed polish to add the lights.

What do you think? Are you loving this design? I want to see your holiday looks too! Come show me on FB

Enjoy & until next time, Amy Lee

#StampingSaturday: Pretty Ugly Christmas Sweaters

Another week has come and gone already. Thank goodness for the weekends. I'm ready for relaxing. It's been a long hard week for me. Lots of work, lots of stress, lots of dealing with stupid crap. I'm going to set up the tree and decorate and get festive up in this bitch.

To prepare for being festive and Christmassy (totally a word), I of course had to do some pretty ugly Christmas Sweater nails. Or is it ugly pretty? I'll let you be the judge. To start out I did a tri-gradient with Cirque The Devil wears Cirque and Tavern on the Teal.

I don't do alot of gradients so I'm out of practice. I should do more, I always love the look of them. Next up, I stamped on holiday sweater designs from MoYou London's Festive 04 plate in Sinful Colors Snow Me White. I recently saw a tutorial on stamping where if you move fast enough you can stamp, then put foil on the nail and it will take the shape of your stamp. I tried so hard, but only got little pieces of the foil to stick. It gives it some extra gold sparkle in a few areas which I quite like. I'll have to try it again in the future.

So what is your vote, are they pretty ugly or ugly pretty? Don't forget to link up your stamped design below!!

Until next time, Amy Lee
