Today I have a fun collection for you from a new to me brand. This is the Midwest Lacquers For the Love of GreySkull collection. These six polishes are all inspired by the classic 80's cartoons He-Man and She-Ra. I loved those cartoons as a kid, so it's fun to revisit them in polish form.
Up first is Midwest Lacquer I'm an Evil Hordak. This beauty is a royal purple jelly filled with circle glitters in multiple colors. It took three coats for full coverage and I had not application issues.
Next up is Midwest Lacquer Saucy Sorceress, this soft shade is one of my two favorites from this collection. It's a soft white jelly filled with pale blue and white flakies. It's so delicate and unique. I used three thin coats for full coverage.
Midwest Lacquer I Surround Myself With Fools is a pale grey crelly filled with purple and black circle glitters as well as some tiny blue hex glitters. This was three thin coats for full coverage.
Midwest Lacquers I Have The Power is a sheer deep berry polish filled with gold glass flecks. This polish was so sheer, I used four coats.
Next up is Midwest Lacquer Princess of Power. This polish is a cream base filled with red and gold shard glitters. Apparently, I was a huge dork and forgot to take a certain pose with this polish. I'll update it soon with the third pose. Anywho, this polish was three thin coats and no application issues.
Finally we have my favorite polish from this collection. Midwest Lacquers They Call Me BattleCat is the perfect kelly green filled with lime, gold, and orange iridescent glitters. I used three thin coats for full coverage. This is a great holiday green!
As I mentioned my favorites are Saucy Sorceress and They Call Me BattleCat. What are yours?
Enjoy & until next time, Amy Lee
