#31DC2016: Yellow & #StampingSaturday

Oh my gosh ya'll! We may only be three days into the challenge, but I already know this is going to be on of my favorites. It is so silly and impractical but I absolutely adore it.
Today's prompt is yellow so I started off with a base of Baroness X Electric Sparks. This beauty is 3 coats of an neon yellow jelly filled with silver flakes. I love how it looks without a base, but if want you could use white polish underneath.
Once Electric Sparks was dry, I used the pineapple pattern from MoYou London Tropical Collection 10 and double stamped it. First I used Mundo de Unas Gold and then went in with Mundo de Unas Chocolate. Once that was dry I used the same plate to stamp on the pineapple tops in OPI Christmas Gone Plaid. The tops being on my skin is so ridiculous and impractical but I love the way it looks.

I know...I know...it's a miracle that I'm participating this weekend. I blame the holidays. Life has been so crazy busy that I feel like I haven't had time to breathe lately. Let alone find the time to actually write posts. I'm usually up way too late to write the ones I've done so today I'm stealing a few moments to get stuff done!!
Today I started with a base of Polish M Autumn's Palette which is seriously the most amazing polish ever. It's a mix of copper, gold, and fuschia flakies as well as gold glitter and some copper holo glitter. If you don't have this one...I think you should track it down and get ASAP!
I then in with Mundo de Unas Chocolate and Uber Chic 2-02 to add in some patterns. The base polish kind of overwhelmed my stamping polish so this look is alot more subtle that I had originally intended.

#TheLacquerRing: Brown & #31DC2015: Gradient

Remember yesterday when I told you I was going to combine prompts today. Well I did. I combined #TheLacquerRing which was a color prompt, Brown (thank you Cynthia!) and today's #31DC2015 prompt of gradients. I knew the colors I wanted to use but had several disasticures trying to get this together. I'm not kidding. This is the third iteration of the look and strangely the one I like the most.
For this look I used four different Zoya Polishes from light to dark they are Taylor, Spencer, Chanelle, and Emilia. I was going for a brush-stroke gradient so I just brushed each color on a little lower than the next, it was super easy and quite a fun look.
Since I can't leave things alone, I decided to add some stamping on top with another brown polish. The stamping was done with MoYou London Fashionista Plate 04 and Mundo de Unas Chocolate.
I love how the stamping kind of fades as the brown polishes get darker. Tomorrow the #31DC2015 moves to style prompts. It's a new frontier!!
