#StampingSaturday: What a Feeling!

It's the freaking weekend y'all! I'm so pleased that it's Saturday. I'm going to relax and try to get a little more organized over in the new apartment. We still have a few boxes floating around, that need homes and I'm hoping to knock those out this weekend.

For #StampingSaturday I have a beautiful Glam Polish to show you. What a Feeling! was a birthday gift from the lovely Frosso of Lacquer Me Silly. It's a holographic base filled with gold-ultra holo glitter and larger metallic holo glitters in green, gold, magenta, violet, and red. It's stunning and I love the combination.

For the stamping portion of today, I used three colors, similar to the glitters, for a tri-color look. I used Mundo de Unas in Aqua, Orchid, and Tutti with a design from Uber Chic 1-01

There you have it! Stamping Saturday! Be sure to check out all the other stamped looks below! Or join in! We'd love to have you!

#TheLacquerRing: Metals

The first installment of #TheLacquerRing is here. Today's prompt is Metals i.e. metallic polishes. I was stumped for a hot minute but then I realized, what better way to fulfill this prompt than KBShimmer's Foiled polish. The perfect option!

So here it is. This is three easy coats of Foiled, a small silver metallic flakes in a clear base. It applies so easily, but can be a bit patchy. It's the nature of the polish but I found three coats was full coverage!

Shark Week!

Do ya'll ever do a mani that you are soooo IN LOVE with that you just have to shove your hands in everyone's face? That's me today. 3 things triggered this mani...1. It's Shark Week on the Discovery channel 2.I got an awesome polish called Shark Bait 3. I have an awesome shark stamp. So I give....you JAWS!!!

But first, lets look at my base. I started with Cirque's NYFW! I adore Annie's blues and this one is stunning. I used three easy coats that applied like buttah!

I then topped NYFW with Polished for Days Shark Bait. I love the mix of triangle glitters, hexes, and mini hexes in white, silver, black, and a variety of blues. It's so adorable.

For my shark I used the stamp from Uber Chic 2-03 with Konad Black. I filled him in with Cirque New Moon, because I wanted to have a realistic sheen to the shark. His gums are Essie Cute as a Button and the teeth are Sinful Colors Snow Me White!

I just want to sing duunnn dunnn... duuuunnnn duun... duuunnnnnnnn dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dunnnnnnnnnnn dunnnn while showing my shark to people. I'm sure it's obnoxious, but I think it's HILARIOUS cause I'm a jerk. Anyway...who's watching shark week?

#StampingSaturday: Patriotic Nails for the Fourth

Happy Independence Day everyone!!!! Well, those of you in the States! I love the Fourth! I'm a huge fan of fireworks and cooking out and hanging out with friends so this day is right up my alley! We've got a chill day with friends planned, then we'll head down to watch the pyrotechnic show over the river. Can't wait!

Obviously I did a patriotic look for the holiday. On my thumb I used Colors by Llarowe Living the Dream (blue) and some stencils to make the stars with Colors by Llarowe I Am Free. The red is Colors by Llarowe Little Miss Independent stamped with Sinful Colors Snow Me White and Winstonia 107. On my middle and ring finger I've got Lacquer Lust Star Spangled Unicorn, which looks like fireworks to me.

My thumb is my favorite and I hate that you can't see it in most of the photos. Total bummer! I basically used almost every Patriotic themed polish I owned. Only the two I already showed you didn't make an appearance here. Do you have big plans for the fourth or will it be low-key?

Bellaluna Cosmetics Birthstones: June & July

Happy Wednesday y'all! We're half way through the week. The long weekend is in sight! Anyone have fun Fourth plans? I still have no idea what I'm doing, I feel like July snuck up on me!

Today, I'm bringing you two more delicious Bellaluna Cosmetics polishes. These two are from Samantha's birthstone collection. We're going to start with July, since this baby just released today. This is Sunrise Ruby. It's a deep red jelly polish filled with reddish pink flakes, and I can totally see the ruby inspiration in this. More than anything it reminds me of a shiny red delicious apple. It's so pretty. I used three coats for full coverage and had no application issues.

Up next we have June's polish, Metamorphosis. As a June baby, I really appreciate that Samantha didn't go with a pearly polish and instead went with the other birthstone of AlexandriteThis duochrome stunner flashes between a pretty blue, pink, and light green. I chose to use Metamorphsis as a topper to a similar colored base, in this case Zoya Madeline. It could be built up to opacity though.

What do you think of these? I can't wait to see the polish for August! You can find links to Bellaluna Cosmetic's shop and more below.

Polish M American Spirit

Late night post tonight. We're slowly getting settled into the new place but I wanted to take a few minutes to share the other half of the Land of the Free Duo. I showed you the other half which was Painted Polish Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Holo. The other half is Polish M's American Spirit. This is a beautiful soft white crelly polish filled with red, white, and blue glitters. I love this polish! It's super festive, but could be worn at any time.

Are you planning out your Independence Day mani? Which festive polish will you wear?

#StampingSaturday: Mermaid-ish

So I'm a day late for #StampingSaturday but I still wanted to get this up. It's been total chaos for the last several days getting this move done. We're officially all in the new place, but there are still boxes everywhere while we unpack and get organized.

For today's look, I wanted something mermaid like. I started off with a base of Different Dimensions Out With the Old, In with the Blue. This is a pale blue holographic polish that took three coats for full coverage.

I then dabbed on some splotches of Picture Polish Antique with saran wrap to add some dimension to the colors. Next I stamped on a scale-ish pattern with Mundo de Unas Light Gold and Winstonia W-111. I was so sure I had a true mermaid scale pattern and I don't. Anyone have any recommendations?
