A Study in Blues - The Ombre Dotticure

Ok, so I'm going to make the call. This might be my favorite manicure I've done all year. I'm not kidding people. It was so awesome, I wore it for five(5) days and was sad when I took it off. I'm already imagining new ways to do it.

To start for this look, I put down a base coat of Maybelline Color Show in Sandstorm. This is a limited edition color that they released in Spring 2013. I love this color. It's the perfect light nude/tan. After waiting for this to dry, my dotting tool and I got down to business.

I used seven different blues for this look. You can see the order below. I blatantly copied this look from this pin, but sadly it looks like the actual blog is now defunct. I'm already imagining this look in both a pink and purple version.

Blues darkest to lightest: Sally Hansen Navy Baby, OPI Eurso Euro, Essie Butler Please, China Glaze Hanging in the Balance, OPI Fly, Maybelline Color Show Turquoise Paradise, China Glaze To Yacht to Handle

What do you think of this look? Do you love it as much as I love it? Because I looooooove it!

Enjoy & until next time, Amy Lee

Dotty Dotticure

Hi all, I'm back again with a crazy dotticure. I did this manicure on my friend Nicky, forever ago and finally just got around to editing the photos. She has gorgeous fingers and was more than happy to model for me after I completed the manicure.

This manicure was done with a base of AEngland Lancelot. What a gorgeous one coater Lancelot is. The dots are done in the following colors: Purple - Zoya Aurora, Coral - Jessica Enchantress, Pink - Essie Off the Shoulder, Blue - OPI Can't Find My Czechbook.

This was a fairly easy and quick manicure to do. You just do each color at a time on all fingers and then move onto the next color. I also enjoy the way the 5 colors go together.

Anywho, Nicky enjoyed the manicure. And I enjoyed a girls night.

Enjoy & until next time, Amy
