There is just something about Matte polishes that is really fun. I love using my Matte topcoat, but I don't have a ton of matte finish polishes. This Matte Velvet collection from Zoya convinced me I need more. These dry down to a perfect finish, are velvety soft, and all have beautiful sometimes subtle shimmer.
Up first is Dovima, a shimmering black matte velvet. This is 2 easy coats.
Next we have Verushka. She is my absolute favorite of this collection. A stunning emerald green polish that is full coverage in 2 coats.
Savita is a matte royal purple with the prettiest shimmer.
Loredana is a shimmering gunmetal grey. The shimmer in this one is strong and made it hard to capture the matte finish.
Next is Harlow, described as a shimmering wine velvet. To me it is more of a magenta, but this polish is my second favorite.
Finally we have Posh. Posh is a crimson matte velvet. Its the perfect holiday red in a different finish. Love this color.
Which color is your favorite? I love Verushka and Harlow!
Enjoy & until next time, Amy Lee

#StampingSaturday: Holographic Bats

I am really getting into the Halloween spirit lately. I'm having so much fun doing designs on my nails that have to do with this holiday. It's such a fun time of year! Today's look for #StampingSaturday is simple, but fun. I started off with a base of Zoya Savita* (swatches coming soon) an awesome purple matte velvet. This is the exact color purple you associate with the Halloween season. I then used BM213 and W116 for the bats which were stamped on in Color Club Beyond, an awesome black holographic polish.
I absolutely adored the contrast between the matte velvet finish and the holographic bats. It's such a simple and subtle look but totally in tune with the Halloween.
