Milk, Honey and Pumpkins!

I love discovering new brands, especially indie brands. I recently heard about Love, Angeline polish and decided I needed to try it out.
One of the polishes I got is called Milk & Honey. Milk & Honey is a white crelly base filled with pastel orange, mint, and aqua hex glitters of different sizes. I think I needed to shake mine a bit more as getting the glitters was a tad difficult for me, but overall, I love the way this polish looks. My swatch is 3 thin coats.

I wore Milk & Honey on its own for one day but then I decided to add some seasonally appropriate nail art. PUMPKINS! For my pumpkins and stripes I started with a base of OPI Where Did Suzi's Man-go. I then outlined my pumpkin and added sparkle to my stripes with Nail Pattern Boldness Fraken-pussy. That name still cracks me up. My stems are China Glaze Mahogany Madness and the vines are a mix of China Glaze I'm With the Lifeguard and Color Club Wild Cactus.
So what do you think of my pumpkins? I'm really shocked by how much I've improved since last year. I remember being so proud of those nails and this year there is a night and day difference.

You may or may not know that currently I live in Kansas. Go ahead, make your Dorothy & Toto jokes. I'll wait.
Everyone finished now? ;-) Well anyways, I've decided to do some nail art, commemorating my home state.
On my thumb and ring finger I have blue and white gingham (for Dorothy's dress), on my pointer/pinky I've done some wheat waving in the wind, and on my ring finger I have Dorothy's ruby pumps. See even I had to acknowledge the Wizard of Oz in my mani. ;-)
So the reason I've done the Kansas nail art, is this. As of last Friday, I finished up my last day at work, and in a little less than three weeks I will be moving to New York City.
No joke people! We are headed to the big city, and there are some exciting things in the works! I'm currently unemployed, granted I'm in day 1, but it's a weird feeling, and the next few weeks are focused on selling my house (please keep your fingers crossed/pray/send good juju, etc), packing up and getting rid of stuff, and enjoying what little time I have left with family/friends before I leave. To help with the transition, I have eleven lovely ladies who will be guest posting. I'm so excited for you to see what they've come up with.
Have you ever undertaken a cross country move? Any advice?

Sometimes I get these crazy ideas and then things happen way to late at night. I've got 3 major things happening on 3 of the post dates for the Untried Polish Challenge. So I was all "I'm going to be productive and get a few posts done early." I did that and then suddenly, it was 11:00pm and I had nothing to post for today. AUGH!! And I had used up all my inspiration. So I was just going to paint my nails a plain color and call it. Just a swatch day. But then I remembered this video and I was all "how hard can it be?"
MISTAKE!!! It really isn't that hard, just time consuming. Luckily, I finished it up and got these pretty pictures for you before passing out.
Unlike in the video, I chose to do roses just on my ring and thumb as accents. This was my first time doing the roses, and I like the colors, but I should have picked colors that contrast more. They're hard to see in the photos, but the detailing looks nice in real life.
Color break down is as follows. I think this design takes the most polishes used award, so far.
